It consist of two parts - handle and blade The blade is made of iron . It is a flat piece. It has a sharp cutting edge only on one side. This side is straight. The opposite side is blunt and curved. The curved side gradually diminishes in breadth from the middle and tapers to a sharp point with the straight cutting edge at the free end. The opposite side of the blade is squarely cut across only leaving a thin extended part along the margin of the blunt curved side. This extended part is about an inch or two in length and ends in a flat structure with a very small perforation at the tip. The lower part of the blade is fixed up with the upper part of the handle with the help of a small nail. This fixation is flexable. It is made in such a way that the blade maybe conviently moved forward for bending and taking it back to its normal position. The handle in its frontal lateral margin is provided with a very narrow groove all along its length. so that the working edge of the blade remains within the gap of the groove. The handle is slightly curved at the backside. Its terminal end is somewhat pointed. It is made of plastic. Measurements: Total length of the knife: 7' Total length of the blade: 3 and 1/2" Total length of the handle: 3 and 1/2" Maximum breadth of the blade: 1'

Brief Description

Sketched drawing

Brief Description: Component parts: Tubular body and the cutter. Description: The instrument is divided ito two separable parts: tabular body and the chopper or cutter. Tabular body: It is a metallic tabular hollow body closed at one end. The other end is open. There is a rim like structure around the free edge of the tube. The ube is again made of brass. It attaisn the length of 4 & 1/4 inches. The Diameter of the hollow is 1 inches. Chopper or Cutter: The cutter consists of three parts: wooden handle, metallic ferrule and metallic elongated chopper with shart cutting edge at the end. The entire structure assumes the form of a screw driver. The wooden handle is solid but globular in form. It has a short and slender neck which receives the tang of the elongated metal blade. The joining is bounded by a metallic ferrule. The body of the elongated piece is circular all along its length except the working edge. The working edge has been hammered to make it flat transversely and thereby the edge becomes sharp when the upper and lower surfaces meet together. Measurementss: 1. Length of the tabular body- 4 & 1/4 inches. 2. Uniform diameter of the body-1 inches. 3. Total length of the chopper- 6 & 1/4 inches. 4. Breadth of the working edge of the chopper: 1/2 inches.

Brief Description: The betelnet chopper consists of two separable parts. They are a tube like structure closed at one end and open at the other. The another part is a screw driver like instrument. The screw driver like instrument is divided into 3 parts- handle, ferrule and elongated metal rod terminating into a flat cutting edge. The wooden handle is somewhat globular in shape. Ferrule, a metal ring is filled at the joining point where the rod is introduced into the handle. The rod is elongatted, slender and circular in diameter. Its distal end is converted into a flat and sharp working edge in the form of the working end of a screw driver. Total length of the chopper is 7 inches. The container is a metal tube having the diameter of 1/2 inches. Its one end is closed while the opposite end is open. Measurements: 1. Total length of the container: 4 inches. 2. Maximum diameter of the container: 1/2 inches. 3. Total length of the chopper: 7 inches. 4. Length of the wooden handle: 2 inches. 5. Height of the ferrule: 1/4 inches. 6. Length of the rod: 4 & 3/4 inches. 7. Breadth of the cutting edge: 1/2 inches.
